Project Coordinator
Overview:
Lead seamless project execution, coordination, and stakeholder liaison for timely, budget-compliant outcomes. Contribute to comprehensive project documentation and uphold TMF policies, aligning with legal requirements.
Main Tasks of Job:
- Coordinate with third parties/vendors/freelancers for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Liaising with the Executive officer regularly and updating them.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Support the smooth running and administration of projects, events, and activities.
- Coordinate with international and local partners.
- Manage information system and database of all projects, source, and maintain project files.
- Coordinate meetings between implementing partners and the global initiatives team.
- Support the Project Manager to review reports, budgets, and needs assessments.
- Attend external meetings and events as required.
- Working with the Project Manager, contributing to project planning, set-up and development, implementing learning into future plans.
- Alongside the Project Manager, implement and maintain monitoring and evaluation systems.
- Be aware of, and work in accordance with, TMF’s Policies and Procedures including Health and Safety, Safeguarding Children and Young People; Safeguarding Vulnerable People; Risk Compliance; and Data Protection and GDPR.
Requirements/Experience
- Implementing the compliance procedure as required by the Charities Commission of England for the Charity to meet all its legal obligations.
- Previous experience in Project Management.
- Attention to detail.
- Efficient task execution.
- Well-informed of the Shi’a Ithna Ashari Muslim faith, in matters of practice, rituals and thought.
- A good understanding of the Shia Ithna Ashari Muslim faith.
Desirable
- Fluency in a second language relevant to the organisation’s operations (Arabic, Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili and Urdu)
