إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Surely we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return. [Qur’an 2:156]
With deep sorrow and heartfelt grief, we announce the passing of his Eminence Sayyid Muhammad Ali Bahr Al-Ulum, a teacher of Bahth Kharij in the Islamic Seminary of Najaf, who returned to the mercy of Allah.
The late Eminence studied Advanced Seminars (bahth al-kharij) under grand contemporary scholars such as Grand Ayatollahs Shaykh Wahid al-Khorasani and the late Sayyid Muhammad Saeed al-Hakeem.
The Foundation had the honour and blessing of benefiting from the guidance of the late Sayyid, who served as a member of its Religious Supervisory Board.
May Allah, through the intercession of Prophet Muhammad (ṣ) and his pure Household (ʿa), grant the departed soul His infinite mercy, raise their rank among the righteous, and grant the family patience and solace.
Fātiḥa is requested for the soul of the deceased.
